Can tell none of you have worked FIFO before! Ask any FIFO here, being home with your lives ones is very different, doesn't matter how much they may annoy you or stress you, it can always be worse, try being away from them!! I'm on a remote mine site (not in a town). So after working 12 hours a day here, I go home on the weekend and have to jam all my friends and family in and guess what they all fucking complain they don't get to see me enough!! If I wanted to see my parents or friends I can't just pop over on a week night like you!
There are others here that do it tougher in way of family! by working a 2/1 roster and they only work 104 hrs a year more than my roster!
BUT I understand this is my choice and the sacrifice I make for money and career!
Just because it seems I work the same as you, until you have worked FIFO I suggest you shut the fuck up and EAD!
