Personally feel that the money doesnt offset the negative effect of leaving your family. Very high break ups rate with FIFO workers. Less money but happy is always better for me. Just need to learn how to budget, live within your means and be happy with what you have/dont have. If you dont have a family/wife/husband then its a great industry.
