ok so this thread is full of fail..... i shouldn't have asked for help and thought i could do it myself,looking back yes i said some stupid things i'm 19 what do you expect. I was just excited about the whole idea of a conversion for my car and didn't realise all the work that's involved but what i am aware of is the cost and what i'm willing to pay for it so none of you need to worry about that. finally for the people who offered advice,ideas,experiences they had and were generally helpful thankyou very much.
ps. i have found a very good halfcut and the conversion is happening in a couple of weeks at a respectable workshop(not at my house
