There were three faults found with the car when the 100k service was done that contributed to the noise.

1/ The Whiteline lower ball joints had excessive freeplay in them. They are not available as a separate part so your original Subaru Ball joints and tie rod ends were refitted as this was a safety issue and was the cause of the clicking. (it appears the Whiteline ball joints are not as durable as Subaru ones, a large percentage have freeplay after only 12 months)

2/ The DCCD (centre diff inside the gearbox) has partially siezed. Even without any voltage there is friction causing the 'moaning' noise when the front and rear wheels are rotating at different speeds (ie; when turning sharply)

3/ The button clutch fitted (by someone else) is excessively harsh, shudders and is noisy too.

Item 1 has been rectified.
Items 2 and 3 can be rectified but both require significant expense and really are not safety or performance limiting faults. My advice is to live with the noise until the clutch is worn out, renew it with a more sensible clutch and while the gearbox is out rectify the centre diff problem.
