Usually in my experience, set it a few PSI under the boost cut. Most
ecu's are able to deal with it then because theyve been set up to run at X psi etc.
Don't be in idiot and wind heaps into it....just use common sense.
I've upped the boost in a fair few cars, always under the boost cut obviously, and they've been fine.
I cant be very helpful though, as I don't know what the stock boost / boost cut is on the 06's.
