My preference is for jap style rims, your Volk TE37's and CE28n's, or Work Emotions (which I have), P1's, etc.. In my opinion the rims have to suit the style and purpose of the car, for example a wrx is a sports car designed for rally events, so a lightweight racing style rim is best suited to fit with that theme. Whereas a luxobarge BMW or Merc is more suited to a bling chrome rim with dish...

Colour wise I like bronze rims or polished, depends on the car and colour. End of the day it's up to the individual as it's their car, but I've seen lots of really nice sports cars ruined IMO with big chrome rims that don't suit....
