Hi Perth-WRX,

I've been lurking these forums for the last couple of weeks reading through all the great info you guys have posted up. I'm 27and in the past, I had never spent more than $3000 on a car.

Cars were nothing more than something to get me from A to B but the day I took that Pearl White 09 WRX out for a test drive was the day my thinking changed. I loved driving it, it was so responsive and so much fun to put my foot down. It was more than just a method of transportation and I was disappointed to have to drive it back to the dealership.

Anyway, I got my finances sorted out and picked it up last week. I'm already looking through the forums for info on an after market exhaust and a tune up (I'm thinking verso at Evolution R for an Ultrex TBE exhaust).

Thanks again for all the info you've posted up, if it wasn't for these forums I may have gone with a Mazda 6 Auto!
