Round 4 of the State Rally Championship and Clubman cup is running on the 27th of July. The Lewana Stages Rally will take competitors to the fast gravel roads in the forest plantations around Balingup.


This is the 4th year that the event has been prepared by Tony Floyd and Stephen Mackinlay who this year have made a few small changes that will improve an already outstanding event.
Some logging in the area has created a unique situation where spectators on the Roo Dog stage will be able to see the first 4 km of racing from the one vantage point.
The spectacular jump on Porker has been retained as a second spectator point. Both are easily accessed from Kirup and Balingup.

The Service park will again be held on the Jim Macdonald Oval in Kirup.


The rally is comprised of 6 special stages (4 for Clubman) with state entrants completing pace noting in the morning before the rally starts at 1:00PM. The rally will finish in the dark, meaning that like the previous 2 rallies this year, competitors will need lights for the last few stages.
