Fill the guards for track work you reckon? The reason I ask is I've been told that going much wider than OEM track induces torque steer/tram lining. Not sure if it will be an issue for track events though? Have to rely on the opinions/experiences of others here.
What works better the wider wheel with narrower track? Or the narrower wheel with wider track? I've checked a few wheel calculators and they are saying the 8 inch +45 offset will be slightly wider than OEM track ( 8.5 +55 offset ). Or should I be going for 17 x 9 and filling those guards right up?
