Hey Carl.
Below is a visual guide I just did up, and below that is a YouTube clip of when I was putting it into practice.
Jorgan (hope I spelled/got that right?) the instructor at RAC told me he was using my "textbook trail braking technique" and line around the corner to teach others on-the-fly as they looked on, so I will assume that this is a correct technique for this corner and that I'm doing some good sharing it rather than giving you misinformation.
Note that I was on road tyres so the speed through and out of the corner probably looks slower compared to yours. Also note that at the time of filming I only had 7PSI of boost, so exit seems cautious and slow but I am actually flooring it!
If you watch the last couple of 'bonnet cam' clips from the video on mute (after you've watched them though), I believe you'll really SEE what I'm getting at with the whole 'keep it smooth, maintain momentum and get a good line out for maximum power' approach.
*last bonnet cam shot is in my dad's RenaultSport Clio Cup… a FWD car where this kind of line is even more essential in getting the power down.
