The 2013 Carringtons Traffic Services Safari Rally is due to run on Saturday the 12th of October in the Mundaring and Chidlow areas.
The Safari is the final round of the outright State Rally Championship and round 5 of the WA State 2WD Championship and Clubman Cup.
The rally's nine stages will all run on the gravel forest roads around Mundaring, with Rally HQ and the service park located in nearby Chidlow. State competitors will have the opportunity to pace note the 110km of special stages, whilst Clubman Cup competitors will compete on the shorter distance of 63km using the organiser's road book in lieu of pace notes.
Event HQ will again be based in the Chidlow Tavern located on Thomas St in Chidlow, directly opposite the service park. Food and drinks will be available from the Chidlow Tavern throughout the event. Meals will also be available during the presentation ceremony (straight after the rally) in the Chidlow Tavern.
As with all rallies, the organisers (yours truly has taken over the reigns as Clerk of Course) are seeking volunteer officials to assist with running the event.
