I thought you might have asked. The 29" wheel is more aimed at the rider who rides fire trails and wants to get up the hills faster. You loose alot of agility so if you more into the down part and the trail gets fairly technical you will find it harder to navigate the bike. I have ridden afew 29'r bikes and being a DH'r i really dont like them. But everyone is different. Wbley Cycles have test bikes in both wheel sizes you can take out for a ride in actual trails. Have you wirked out where you are going to ride?
