Default inlet/induction pipe installation

Hi guys,

after replacing my stock inlet pipe with an aftermarket inlet pipe, the car will almost go to stall every now and then. i put it in neutral from say 4000rpm and it drops to almost 100/150rpm then back up to just above 500rpm

could it be the generic ebay spec pipe? its the same size as the stock pipe but was not doing before i replaced the inlet pipe.

does each connection to it have to be the same length (like the bov return pipe) as the stock one?

any advice on what i can check? i didnt remove the manifold but i did unbolt it a bit to lift the pipe through.

if any of you have any suggestions, maybe somewhere to check incase i forgot to add something back on the car, im 99.99% sure i have attached everything though

is it worth getting a proper aftermarket pipe installed incase its my crappy ebay sent one?

cheers guys
Josh
