The driver is called Mark and he is 25 years old. Born to Mary and Henry Carruthers he grew up in a small town on the New South Wales Coast. Marks father worked nights filling salt shakers while his mother made home-made toilet brushes which she would sell door to door. Money was tight for the Carruthers family so Mark was often sent out to steal the neighbours paper which the family would use to make a sort of hearty soup. The soup which consisted mainly of carrots, dirt and newspaper keep the family going through the cold winter months. The house which was made from stolen phonebooks burnt down one cold Friday night when young Mark tried making his first flame thrower. An attempt that was a complete failure. Forced to move into the neighbours dog kennel the Carruthers struggled to make ends meet and was forced to sell Mark to the Smithsons who lived next door.

Education at home by the family dog, Mark quickly developed an interest in sticks which later in life would explain his move to Perth where he would take up a job with the government. Mark is currently single but does see a young woman on a semi regular basis, but it all depends on what time she closes her curtains though. Mark bought his WRX by selling incriminating photos of his boss, who for some reason believes that a photo of him licking telephone polls would not go down well in the government.

Mark has no current plans to mod his car.
