You could ask your tuner to delay power and make artificial lag so then you can have your punch back. This however would be a waste of a tune and defeat the purpose of tuning it to go faster... Want more punch from the WRX you will need a bigger turbo.
If you wanted a real punch should have got a skyline (of the RB25 variety) and then put a GT30 / GT35 turbine with plenty of
Greenpeace external gate. This will achieve both being fast and punching you in the kidney's while sitting on limiter on the way to the shops.
