i'd definitely go for the 8.5 it wont look as good but will cause a lot less headaches with rubbing, Coilovers and rolled guards either way are recommended and probably camber bolts to be safe. Tyre width will affect rubbing as well as a straight side wall will make it taller where as if you have a bit of stretch itll pull the highest part of the tyre in a couple mm giving you a bit more room to work with.

Do you want a fast practical car or a fast car which rubs more then a pedo outside a primary school
