Adjusting the pre-load spring nuts would have no effect of the ride height of the car. It would just fuck with the pre-load and you could end up with binding and a cracked spring if you go to far.

If I recall you went with softer springs? Like mentioned above id say softer springs mixed with lower quality will result in the spring settling down a fair bit. If you are adjusting the height via the preload nut then you are just taking away sag which is not what you want to do.


EDIT: you replied before me haha. I'd say softer spring weight vs quality.
