Bit of a update...

Well...since last update Mrs gave birth to two beautiful girls so I am a proud father. Haha.

I had to put the project on hold for a bit in order to get all the more important things done. Just finished building my house which was a challenge but all has come together now and now it's time to put the time and more $$$ into this granny mobile.

In the mean time I had a few things done and a few changes. I decided to sell the Hks cams I originally had and got my self some Kelford 266/270 cams. (Will be slightly more lumpy but Sean will try and even them out so they aren't that lumpy).

Also had a few parts chromed

Got the hood vents done by The bronzing Studio in Sydney. Had to send them there and two weeks later it was looking just how I wanted it. It was a bit difficult to do as there were coats of paint on them from previously but it was manageable all tho it cost a fair bit. Lol. I thought it would finish the front end nicely.

No bathroom spec here like Tino, paving and direct sunlight

Also had the wipers done in Perth

I have to take a pic of the suede head lining I got done, it's so nicely put together and you could stare at it all day.

The biggest change or should I say headache will be to put the original dash back in. I originally stripped down the original dash and had a custom one made up. The custom dash hasn't grown on me and I can't seem to handle it being there over the original.
My main problem is that I got rid of most of the old dash parts and now I have to source some via eastern states until I gather all the necessary parts to complete the original dash. So far I have found someone who might have everything I need so fingers crossed it all goes well.

Now I am in need of a opinion.. I know it's a old car and after market gauges suit most old cars. I was thinking of either getting a Motec or Aim dash in order to have a clean and simple dash without having so many gauges.

Picture it like this... If you're driving along, you see the appearance that the car has from outside and next thing you notice is a digital dash. I don't know if it will be too much or it will fit alright being something different.
Old car (sleeper appearance) + digital dash?
