I was talking to someone about whites crash and how it happened given all the warnings and someone made a good point. For those that dont know white doesnt run normal pace notes. He runs this ipad thing that has a map of the stage and his nav has to keep turning it to point north. As they move towards a corner it flashes up what the severity of the corner is etc. all well and good until you get some big tree cover and it cant get signal. The other issue i hadnt though of was when the start line tells you there is an issue on course how are you meant to add it to the notes? Maybe he just logs it in his head and watches the trip meter. I dont know. I'll ask him tonight.

We also got given a nice derived time for Rianna so we are now 3:47 ahead of 5th place. No need to take any risks through mt arrowsmith this morning which is a bitch of a 60km stage. Super fast and flowing and if you are super committed in a gtr you can pick up a lot of time.
