To be honest I don't know as I've never tried. But on the KNS website they do mention needing to grind away from material. Anyway it doesn't look like a big deal, only a tiny amount needs to come off, and could be done in under 10 mins with an angle grinder.

Yes it's priced well considering they're brand new and includes new pads.
