The ATO; 'Unfortunately we can not release said refund due to a $XXk discrepancy we have found with a prior year lodged documentation', No worries, what is said discrepancy? 'I'll need to refer you to our specialist', facepalm.
Call center operator doesn't actually put me onto specialist but instead informs me 'the specialist is now unable to locate said discrepancy and the refund will be escalated and send in approximately 28days.
What if cash flow is restricted? Blah, blah service standard.....
