Okey dokey, so I recieved the harness bar from AGI.

I trimmed away at the interior plastics around the rear strut mounts until there was enough room to do the deed. Then what do you know, the bar doesn't fit.

As you can see from the pictures the bar comes into contact with the chassis on the drivers side and will not move any further to allow alignment of the suspension bolts and bar mounting holes. The strut bolts are 10mm so i'm guesstimating the rogue bolt sits about 4mm closer to the chassis than the other three bolts.

The suggestion from Adam at AGI was to panel beat that section of the chassis to fit the bar. I just can't do it. Russ offered to do it for me and so did one of the fitters at work but I'm too pussy.

Lucky for me Adam at AGI admitted this has happened on one other car in the past, out of about 15 bar installs. He has also agreed to give me a full refund, so I can't fault him there.

Pretty disappointing but what can you do, shit happens.

If anyone is interested in the bar and wants a test fit and possible purchase let me know by Friday this week. Otherwise I will be re-packaging it and sending it back.

Cheers
