I think this is a timely reminder to us all about the perils of motorsport...especially in the wet. The RAC track is definitely not a good surface in the wet and becomes perilous when the rain comes down hard.
I remember QTW last year when we had similar conditions...it was tip toe stuff...we went off near the end of the main straight after hitting standing water and aquaplaning...just lucky there were no barriers down there.
