Default Choosing the right roll centre kit?

Hey peeps. So i have been looking at some suspension upgrades. After talking to John today i have most of it sorted out and locked in except the roll centre kit. I was set on the GT-spec kit based purely on the fact that it is forged over whiteline which is only cast, not to mention the shit wrap whiteline have been getting lately. Basically after i got of the phone to John i did some more research on the gt kit and realised how different the white and gt kit really are. The gt kit lifts the roll centre over twice as much as the whiteline kit. I also read that having a ball joint that long put alot of extra stress on the socket and can cause alot of damage.

How do i go about choosing the correct kit fort ride height? Is it juat a matter of guess and checking or has anyone been down this road before.

Just to show how different they are and how the gt spec kit sits.

Disclaimer: Will be calling John again tomorrow to discuss all of the above.
