The Americans seem to make it work without coilovers when they throw on some adjustable camber tops...
... but I don't know how much I trust these. Plus I can't imagine they meet ADR so insurance may give you the cold shoulder if you crash.
Honestly for the amount of work and hassle to have these wheels just got for something like: - 18x8.5 +40 / +44 / +45
They will fill the guards, not cause fitment issues and you can run a proper sized tyre on the rim.

If you still want to run more aggressive size / offset rims stop making threads for each enquiry (keep adding to this thread if necessary) and get your self onto some American WRX sites (
Nasioc, IWSTI, I-Club) to see what you have to do to make them fit properly.
