I used Menzerna polish as medium grade compound from day one, I always find it very efficient. Maybe check the polish/compound grade, as Menzerna has a huge range of polish, and heavy compound suppose to leave swirl marks, which should be removed with finishing polish. Also r u polishing ur car in sunlight, not all polish can be used under sun?
Fluffy polishing cloth should help removing polish, when u feel significant resistance while buffing off, change to a new cloth.
