Heya, sorry to hear you are not getting to play much.
Are you playing on PC? I play both on PC and PS4
Not had any problems in connecting, only had problems (which everyone did) at the very beginning when the released D3 and if in a time when too many are on...then Battlenet queues the log in's.
Have you updated the game to reaper of souls? if not...do, much better.
Like joker suggested, try different region.
