Overheated. Previous owner neglected it and probably didn't service it for ages either - the oil was really black and smelled like burnt oil while I drove it. Also, After I drove it all this gunky white watery stuff spurted out of one of the hoses near the radiator. Spots of it was all over the engine. That's when I took it to the workshop.

Still pulled really hard though. But when they did a compression test, one of the cylinders were down. . My worse fears. So had to get a rebuild.

What do you think caused it?
