Default Mechanical vs Electronic boost gauge

Hey guys, I got an Evo Prosport digital boost gauge to fit in with my colour scheme, but I'm getting conflicting boost levels compared to my mechanical one. The mechanical one is most of the time 5psi higher than the digital one, sometimes coming down to a 2-3psi difference. The highest psi I've reached with the mechanical one is about 14psi, while the digital one struggles to get to 10psi.

Any ideas on how I can figure out which one is more accurate? I know it probably doesn't matter but it really bugs me not knowing. I included a pic describing how I've setup the two gauges and a pic of the two gauges at idle so you can see the difference.

I would think that the mechanical gauge would be more accurate since it's directly attached to the intake mannifold, but I've read in forums that digital gauges are more accurate? Or maybe I just got a faulty boost receiver unit?
