I did my up-pipe and headers, I didn't have any cracks or excessive sealant, but I one of my studs were coming loose an started un-screwing. I just put 2 bolts on and that fixed the stud from coming loose and just took of that 2nd bolt.
Hopefully the block/rocker covers aren't cracked man!
