The wheel itself will bolt onto any WRX but the airbag connection differs, 2003 to 2004 MY04 STI have a unique clockspring that needs to be used on MY04 and previous WRX and 2002 and previous STI. Clockspring won't bolt onto the GC8 indicator stalk frame backing so need to use a GD one, steering column plastics then need to be changed to mount to the GD stalk backing.
