Lack of power is probably a good thing on a wet day
Brakes can be improved with upgraded pads, rotors and fluid
Predictable handling is certainly a big step.
Some (eg me) pushed a little harder in the wet and paid the price in the grass & mud.
There are some very big horsepower cars out there.
You're lucky you had an "almost dry" run.
Enjoy the experience...we aren't all Jamie Listers...
