4cyl cars are always going to rev more at cruising gears. Its just the way it is.

The other thing specific to subarus (6spds) is if the engine is a 2L or a 2.5L. The gearboxs are matched to engine size. This is why the JDM ones (2.0L) are more revvy than the AUDM (2.5L) boxs.
