I'm doing same build now on my 99 Sti. Fucked last engine and re using my heads.

Bought EJ207 semi closed deck from rising Sun Subaru $2300 delivered.

RCM 11mm Oil pump, cosworth timing belt kit, RCM baffled oil sump and RCM catch can,RCM head gaskets $3500 delivered. (Roger Clark motorsports UK)

New oil cooler from subaru $400 I think

Sent out heads to be serviced and whatever else they do $600

Buying cams and springs now but only cause I found a cam slightly cracked during build last week.

And about $1000 from local Subaru for gaskets and seals and brackets I needed and what not.

Hope this helps for your next build! Just make sure change as much as you can for oil system or thoroughly clean parts. 100% change oil pump and cooler.
