As stated above, SOWA on Facebook has grabbed most of the young'uns new to all things Subaru and has taken away from potential new members on here. Almost a good thing to be honest, because the page is rife with fuckwits. As most of us know, fuckwits have never lasted long on this forum. That SOWA page is excellent banter fodder and that's about it. The good kids on SOWA find out about this page anyway and have ended up here. Tome, Jack Dicks-on, etc. a couple of other lurkers.

Quite a few of us who have been on Perth-WRX for a while created another group/page on Facebook and have managed to keep aforementioned fuckwits out of it (not Tome and Jack!). Serious questions, serious answers, knowledgeable people and an aim much like this thread - to keep a community going with the right things in mind - motorsport and coming together at some stage for some motorsport viewing, a cruise, a feed, etc.

For those who don't like or use Facebook, it would be fine to use for a couple of groups and a small selection of friends/family. At the end of the day you're in complete control of the people on your list and the groups/pages you join. If you keep it to a minimum you won't come across numpties. If you're like me and can't help but cross paths with stupid people, then you'll add all sorts of pages just to "people watch" and to drop the occasional patch of vaginal sand.

Once my backyard is complete in my new(ish) place, I might consider hosting a BBQ one evening, say after a track day, cruise or motorsport viewing. A shopping centre is currently being built across the road and will be handy for not only food, but parking (Coles and Liquorland 150 metres away!).
Well summed up Craig but I did originate from antilag and have pretty much just migrated back.

The problem with P-WRX is the general lack of commitment to socialise in real life.

I have always struggled to get members from behind the screen to come to a BBQ / Boobies / pizza night

On antilag they sell out in hours............

Prove me wrong P-WRX and show up in numbers to Craig's BBQ
