Do you know how your gearbox was treated before you got it?

Where are these bad reviews on the CC clutches? Disappointed to hear that as they would have been one of my first choices....
Would rather put something with an up-rated clamping force, and a bit stronger, tougher than the stock/oem one. Just personal preference here. I am actually have a problem with the clutch at the moment, and even though there is some life left in it (it's not slipping), i need to remove it to resolve an issue.

I've explained the problem to a few people, and nobody can understand it. It's a reasonably expensive job, so trying to make the best decision obviously. Not sure how my gearbox was treated before I got it, but feels fine, isn't notchy, no reason to be concerned with it.

Regarding the CC clutches, I hear the CC are much harder to launch, tough break-in, and stink out the car a lot more too due to the type of friction material they use ?? I was pretty keen on going one of these as well initially. I dunno, maybe that's not a big issue.
