So its pretty much standard.

Does it run smooth, idle smooth ? when it cranks does it sound even ? visible signs of smoke ?

Keep a close eye on oil levels for a while, be a good idea to cut open the oil filter and see whats in it when you change oil, my money would be on broken rings/ring lands if it keeps using oil.
