Hi from vic. This is my first post on here. im not from perth nor do i have a wrx haha. i own a xt forester.
i joind this site as it has some great info, i been reading through people threads and some of the detail people go to are insane.
i recently just finished a back yard engine swap with help from a few mates, none of which are mechanics. im a sparky by trade and have a passion for cars.
i ended up pulling the motor and sending it for a rebuild. not just your average rebuild tho. it got some closed deck forged goodness along with a mild pnp some cams and springs and it was put back together with some 14mm headstuds for good measure before being sent back to me. then came the fun part of putting all the parts back on the motor and dropping it back in the car. that was a fun adventure. any ways. i will put up a full list of whats been done at some point. some people would think i have gone too far with the amount i have changed but to me its unique and i love it. well enjoy
