On the same note just wanted to know what your thoughts are on the VF34? after reading a few turbo specs etc during my research, a lot of people mention that there is a slight lag from the standard TD04, which I am a bit concern.

I use it mainly for street driving and enjoy the pulling power around 3-4,000 rpm because I don't see the point in having a turbo that will sustain up to redline rpm because I almost never push it to redline anyway in fear of getting pulled over by cops.

Some people suggested I look at VF28 instead that will suit more to my driving style, they are a bit hard to come by though, I've been looking but not many in good condition like my VF34.

A friend of mine who has been playing with performance car for a long time although not Subaru, he's always had Silvia, suggested that I stick with the stock TD04L and get extractors/ Exhaust Manifold, CAI and just tune it, he reckons I would be more happier with that setup.

Just wanted to know what your thoughts are on this.
