For a great quality set of sockets. I highly recommend the Action / Dual-Action socket sets. This brand is IMHO superior to both your other options and some of the vest sockets i have ever come across. These are all thin wall 6 sided impact rated sockets. They have big range of sockets and thier sets are very inclusive. For example the 1/2" goes all the way upto 36mm in the kit. (Perfect for axle nuts etc) The 1/4" goes upto 15mm. And they have a large range of hex, torx, all regular and deep sizes. Just a all round great set of tools.

Yes it is a taiwan company. But the quality is exceptional. (And most likely china or taiwan produce both the other ootions you listed anyways.)
