I'm pretty gentle on launches and changes, I get in the twin light zone then just blat the throttle probably between 4000-7000k (though I never look at the tacho) and as soon as the 2nd orange light hits I smash my right foot and lift my left foot as fast as possible, usually a little wheelspin, change gears without hurting the box but not hanging around either, 4.44 probably helps. Change gears below 7k most of the time but it's happy to go to 8k, tried changing below 6k because that's where the max torque is but that's bullshit and just made it slower.
I tried dumping the clutch once but it just felt like it was really hurting the drivetrain so never did it again, I did a 1.8 60' once too so I guess it's got a 12.9 in it, though I haven't been for a few years.
