How do they sound??
Minor change, they were SPS-600 (older model) and they have to have some sort of adapter or spacer because the bolt pattern is different (Alpines are 4 bolt, standard are 3 bolt). Fitted them about 6 years ago or so, I either used the standard backing plates/cones off the old speakers and bolted the Alpines to them, or I used the factory provided adapter plates (I can check over the weekend). Either way, didn't have any issues with them fouling on the door trim or the window mechanism, and didn't have to cut anything out of the door.

Sound was great in my opinion, I'm by no means an audio expert and my tuning was probably all over the place, but I never thought they were lacking. They put up with my P-Plate years too so they can cop a fair bit of abuse!
