As an update: We managed to get it done and dusted after a string of good luck and coincidences, as well as the amazing support of the local "Club Liberty WA" group. I purchased a full running 04 Liberty GT Wreck for $1700 with complete service history. We swapped the motor in over 2 weeks and started it, the dash for funds to get the vehicle and to continue work on mine were procured from selling mods off my red GT and then parts off of the wreck.

All in I managed to swap the motor through for around $400.

After running the liberty a while a few things have happened; the transmission cooler exploded, the rear coilover springs sagged and have started knocking (might get warranty)

But all in all, here she is.
