Well hire the lights, as suggested before. This way you can play with the lights without having to rush for time, play with different diffusers or light boxes all in the comfort of your own home.

Screw the pros..if you haven't got a Wheels Magazine Cover car & a lot of coin I wouldn't waste my time, or effort.

'Hypothetically' lets say:
Hire studio - $250 for the time
Photographer's fee - $150 per hour, or double if he owns the studio already
Before photos its already $400 minimum, and then you've got to add the cost which can be blown out of proportion. You won't have much change out of $1000 that's for sure.
