Nightshift, altho the type of exhaust does play a big part in the sound it makes, even by having your car tuned differently alters the noise, i remeber back with my GC8, after it was tuned it was a louder/slightly different note. on my 2.5L with this exhaust system what i've found is at low rev's it's pretty subtle, and when your on the highway crusing (ie. to Perth, it doesn't give you a headache (my old car used to)) but when you open it up, it has the noise and seems to get pretty loud

All in all, im very happy with it, half the price of X-Force and looks very, very similar, both in design & construction. and if it gets damaged... it's half the price to replace
