Yeah but Tode is a sick bloke. He don't care
Just start with the basics tode - try and remove the pump and make sure it isnt kinked or anything down the bottom (as you said it may have been crushed). Then give your fuel filter a look see. As tino said also, check the injectors also.
It has to be something minor....surely?
