Just after my tune except it was 5th gear WOT, just as it was hitting full boost it cut...i might add it was a very very very cold night and has never done it since...
Ah ok, that eases my mind then. Appreciated! |
thread cleaned up / moved to autronic discussion

Are you still using the factory subaru boost control solenoid?
if you are, that is most likely the cause of the boost cut/compressor surge issues. |

No offence but if your running an autronic a dual stage boost controller should be useless as the ECU will run or try to run whatever boost is set in it, maybe that's half your trouble. Especially if it's running a MAP sensor. Also if you are running the subaru solenoid you will struggle, bettr of getting a MAC 3 port.

yep - piss of that turbo xs crap and get yourself a MAC 3-port ($60).

Thats what i thought, only just bought the car and I think the previous owner REXLLENT had the turbo xs controlling the boost before he put the ECU in. I haven't touched or fiddled with it at all. After a little research it looks like a 3 port solenoid is a must. And yes its running a MAP sensor... |
