A New Direction..

So as most would know, I've been thinking of selling my car.. not because I'm bored of it or over it, but because I wanted to try something different.
The car is still for sale... but only if I find the right buyer at the right price. In the mean time, I've decided to take a different path with the car just to see how it turns out. It's a path that is a little bit different.. and something thats not seen very often here in WA.
That is, build a Time Attack style street car. i.e. race wheels, time attack style body work, interior, etc etc. It's hugely popular in the USA, especially with the bug eye shape which seems to lend itself well to this sort of modification. Of course, its also massive in Japan.
To start with, I've just acquired these..
Advan RCII 18 x 8.5, in white. They're 1 piece, light, 5 spoke, white and Japanese.. which means they lend themselves perfectly to the look I'm going for.
We'll see how they look when they get here next week!!
After that, the kit is going to go.. time for something different!
Maybe an STi v2 front lip..
Maybe a Cusco GT-Wing
In combination with stock colour-coded side skirts, MY03 rear bumper and tail lights, and rear bumper extensions, it should look pretty tough!!
Stay tuned, pics to come when the rims arrive.

They're on!
Huge thanks to Jme for the assistance in adjusting the suspension to get these to fit!
We had to camber the rears in (running about 2.5 degrees now instead of none) and raise suspension 10mm in rear, then 15mm lift in front. I'll be putting camber in the front too at some stage because we ran out of time to do it tonight.
The car looks heaps tougher now, and they really fill the guards!!
My apologies on the phone spec photos, will do some better ones at some stage.
