Since using Winamp on my iphone, itunes really doesn't like my iphone.

I cant update the software or restore my iphone... i just get error messages. Even after updating my itunes.

Lost interest in trying to fix it and just decided to Jailbreak it. Seems to be a lot of cool thing i can actualy do/use now.... like bluetooth and all sorts of appearance/theme settings etc

Oops should have added more info. Scrolling through in text is fine (sort by album - easy), but when in Coverflow I can't get a various artist album to show up as just the album.

i think when you input the track info, you can check the "Part of Compilation" tick box.

not 100% sure though as i havent used it, usually when i have a various artists album, i put the title and artist in the one field. works for me but each to their own.

Tick part of a compilation, or select all of the songs to the album and change the Disk or anything for that matter.

So If it says Disk 1 of 1, change it to 1 of 2, hit ok then change it back, iTunes should put them all into one album then.

@deviant - I know I know I have put it off for ages coz I didnt wnat to be a slave to itunes but had to give in.

@kato - yeh I found the same thing happened, you can go thru manually on each track for each album and asign it a sort catagory and then it does the right thing, I like to think there is an easier way but I couldnt find it.

I use Anapod instead of itunes.. also lets you copy the music off your mates ipods back onto your pc too.
