Default shit start to my week off

so this morning i knocked off work at 6 and usually im on the plane and heading back to pert by 7, in perth by 9-930. well weather decided to interfere and i didnt get into perth untill quarter past 11. so i missed my doctors appointment for 1030 and missed seeing my mrs before she went to hospital to have her tonsils taken out. so i get home bout 1130 and the plan was for me and my mates to head down to dwellingup for the arvo/evening and have a feed at the pub and a few drinks and come home.

got home and my battery was dead. the folks forgot to start it up a few times while i was away. 3 hours later of fuckin round in the rain i finally got a temporary battery in that just barely turns the motor over let alone start it. lets just say im carrying around a 12v battery pack till i get a proper new battery.

so we all ended up leaving the hills about 3 got onto tonkin highway and was just bout to hit the bridge over albany highway and BAM blew my rear tyre. and me being the idiot i am forgot to make sure the proper friggin tyre iron was in the car so called the RAC. took them an hour to get there put the space saver on and headed down to tyrepower in kelmscott got some new rubber put on and then decided to come home.

went to get dinner at the new place in kalamunda VILLAGIO who have taken over from ramsays kebabs. took us 40 minutes to get 5 of the mostly wrong kebabs. went back to a mates place and started drinking.

got a call bout midnight from our other mate who had the crap beaten out of him at the casino and was in the emergency at royal perth and wanted us to come down. so went down there and had to wait in the er for 3 hours while he got 6 stitches. finally got home bout 330 and had to drop my mates home so here i am at 445am on saturday after being awake since about 3pm on thursday finally at home and in bed.

heres to hoping the rest of my week off goes at least slightly better than today.

*whinge over*

Dam what a crap day!!!

Got to say though you are pretty brave planing anything within 3 hours of the scheduled arrival time of any flight.

As for the flat battery if you leave your car for more than a couple of days on a regular basis a trickle charger for all of about 60 bucks is an absolute must. I use a 1600ma Projector one on everything in the garage and have never had a problem since getting them.

Time for a Lotto ticket mate; who knows, a big change for the better might come your way?

Edit: Marc already suggested same. Ah well, buy two Lotto tickets!

haha yea might just do that.
the blowout was a hex bolt straight through the tyre. but as it was on the bridge i had to travel 200 metres down the road to actually get off the road and by that time the tyre was ripped to shreds. just lucky it wasnt any further or my rim would have had it aswell.

Lotto ticket can't hurt. Also what you require is a float charger, not a trickle charger. The difference being that a float charger maintains a constant voltage, where as a trickle charger will charge whether the battery is fully charged or not.
